Shanti Mahadevan

Shanti Mahadevan is the Founder and CEO of Alternative Medicine Health Care Centre (AMHCC). Her journey of a thousand miles began with a single step when decades ago she first set up Shama Institute of Education in Mumbai, India, where only Pre-Primary Teacher’s Course was taught. With a Ph.D. in Psychology and an M.D. in Homeopathy, she pursued other courses in naturopathy, psychology, psychotherapy, healing, and more. All these have equipped her in the coaching industry. With every passing year, she introduced new courses, and each success has contributed to a sense of achievement. AMHCC imparts e-Learning in specialized programs with an emphasis on practical application that will benefit all.

Priya Karthik is the Co-Founder and Director of Alternative Medicine Health Care Centre (AMHCC). A Post Graduate in English Literature followed with a Ph.D. in Psychology, she has certifications in many complementary and alternative courses. Says she that the application of therapies are finding their way in institutional settings to help patients from cradle to old age in both curative and palliative care. With Massage Therapy taking the first place, and, with Art and Music Therapy standing second; Priya Karthik introduced Music Therapy at AMHCC. As holistic healing makes a positive difference in the lives of people, she finds joy in imparting education in these fields.
